How are you setting up the fork stops? I'm just curious as I still have to do that on my front end and I have an idea but was curious what your solution is.

they will be a bolt in deal Doug...that way you should be able to locate them where you need to regardless of the year of bike or style of "stock" stops.
what is you idea?

The stock nub on the backside of the steering neck had to be removed as the thicker aluminum Gsxr lower clamp interfered with it.

Here is what I did in the past on the '73.
I cut the stock stop off the frame and decided to use the stops on the bottom tree and mod the frame stops....so I just welded a couple of boss' onto the neck...it works well...
however on this one I wanted to keep the stock tabs ( not everyone has the ability /access to a welder).
so I figured if i could come up with a "stud" of sorts....drill and tap where it needs to be on the bottom clamp...it would be more universal.
I thought about keeping the stock dampner ....it looks cool on your set up....

I'm diggin' the "skeleton" headlight brackets.
I actually stole the idea from some of the newer LTD's. I wanted something different, from the normal clamp/plate setup normally found in the aftermarket, and something lightweight so that's what I came up with.

the triple trees are basically a wrap...just a small ajustment to the stem (needs to be 3/8ths shorter)
and then off to the anodizer.
