might start shock area gusseting this weekend ,lots of welding grinding to do still.all yellow marked areas still need welded!:S :laugh:

im glad i had the frame checked before bracing steering head,it was out about a 1/4" before being straightened.:S

thats not the turbo for this bike,just getting ideas about locating it.there will be another cross brace under steering head between dowtntubes where the yellow marks are but i need to bring an empty motor down there to check for clearance issues before installing the brace

I was going to "axe" if that was your turbo setting there, or one of the (numerous) ones lying about the shop!:woohoo:
Wish I coulda been there, wasting you guys' time and gleening information.
Question: I saw (this site, or another?) a guy put his coils back under the passenger seat area and ran the wires directly forward to the head...looked real cool...question is that doesn't resistance increase with the length of wire it has to travel through? And is that extra amount any distance worth worrying about? I don't know how much impact that stuff has, and I figure you (or one of our fellow 'geeks' out there) might know.
Your project is rockin' along...I'll meet up with you eventually, the first Porter is on me at the Tiger.
