what paint scheme are you going to put on the bike with the gold motor?
those black covers look good, but i guess the perfectionist in you wont allow you to use them with those small imperfections:silly: .maybe if you bake the covers after the epoxy and before the paint to take care of the shrinkage(i'm sure you are ahead of me on that tho).

Looks idyllic, but 4 years ago a ship,
MV Rocknes turned on a reef just behind that bridge, and lots of people died... The vessel where lying upside down for weeks after.
Color scheme... Ive been thinking on some colors, orange/black/kawagreen/gold.
Either some of them mixed, or one or two of them...
Since the gold color is there, on engine and the Busa forks, and wheels are black, them colors are already given.
But maybe some of you guys have some thoughts about this?
I need some input on this.
And yes, those sidecovers will be done something with, I will bake them once on high temperature before painting, also try to cover more with the epoxy, not only the scratches. Hmm.

I think that the welded crank was the main reason for to buy the parts, but its nice with some cubic to!.
And I got an very OK deal with the preowner, a nice Viking!
Here is a link for the specs for the camshafts.
Is there anyone out there who got some experience with that Wiseco kit?

My friend MR 531blackbanshee sent me this picture:
So my tree is done, and soon on the way over the Atlantic to me! :woohoo:
Thanks 531blackbanshee!!!
Ive started on the "Goldengine", installed the gearbox.
I still don't know if it will be an 1100cc or 1000cc engine.
Depends if I can find an 1000cc cylinder and pistons for an cheap price.
Because when I am starting with the Z1000R, I will use the Wiseco 1262cc kit.
This is the lately work, beside the sandblasting, it takes a lot of time sandblast off the original
painting, with this ordinary blasting sand I use.
I don't use Alu silikat, which is much sharper, because there is a health risk involved, even if you use dust mask, you have to use a fresh air mask...
Silikat is no good for your lungs.
Oki, pictures:
Ive started with two empty hands and a muffin? half??
Done! Now waiting for which crank...GPZ1100 or 1000R...
:woohoo:

Only one left now.
Well, after consulting 531blackbanshee I will try to use the 1000R head on GPZ1100 bottom/pistons/cylinder.
So next now is to put the 1100 crank in the gold machine.
The spring is come to Bergen, so it is much stuff out which needs to be done, but its full steam ahead soon again!
Picture taken down by the sea, in the neighbourhood.

I have started on the 1000R head, and the plan is to Gun-Kote it gold...since I will use this head, instead of the other head which also is gold now...
