Also, Rush is awesome!! I've seen them in concert too. I would have to say "Farewell to Kings" is my favorite album.

After Media blasting
1) Wash everything very well with the best "NON Alkali" degreasing detergent you can find. I prefer the "Orange" "ZEP" stile of detergent. and very hot water.
2)Spray on K-Phos and bake at 120*f for two hours.
3)Wash entire part again with Pure Acetone using a spray bottle removing all K-Phos.
4)allow to dry for about one hour.
5) re-spray with K-Phos and re-bake for 1 hour at 120*f
6) while hot, spray part with GunKote.
7)allow to dry at 120*f for 1 hour.
8)Raze temperature to 325*f and bake for one hour.
9)Viola**** you have the perfect GunKoted part.
I do not recommend GunKote for the Cases, Use a good quality enamel like "Polane-B" You can even do the covers in Polane if you so desire. Both GunKote and Polane are good choices for side covers. There are two different Polanes, one is “T” and the other is “B”. The difference is thet T is Matt and B is Gloss.

Or maybe you can see it but i cant...i will try anyway
Well, i can try upload pics...
Maybe it goes OK, even it takes loooong time.
Here are the China shocks...
The name on them are NICETECT...
Dont know any more about them
But that company seems to be a manufacturer in China with many shock models.
OK, Then over to the freshly painted engine head and cylinders.
Mmmm...
I am really satisfied with the color, what do you think guys?
Hope this problem with my ISP will end so I can use normal processes to reach KZR.

Thanks Zedone
The parts are preheated, sprayed Gun Kote on, and then baked for 1 hour.
That head just fitted the stove...like 2mm to the walls inside.
And the paint is really gloss and nice to look at.
And what's more important, really hard to remove. (i hope)
Øhlins is quality shocks, no doubt about that.
But the price on them are insane.
So i will try these "Chinashocks", they look nice, and i think they are better then some old ones anyway.
BUT:
They are around 1-1.5 inch smaller then the ELR shocks, and 1000j shocks are around same length.
3.5 inch before you screw on something in the bottom.
With that eye (don't recall the English word for that)in the bottom half way in, they are 310mm long.
So i don't know, i don't like the idea lowering down the bike that much?
Any suggestions about that? Drastically worse improvement of the bike? Hmm.

Hi RoyNor, Great project you have. Thanks for the pictures and documentation. I just got a gpz750 project and plan on using gunkote as well.
Also, Rush is awesome!! I've seen them in concert too. I would have to say "Farewell to Kings" is my favorite album.
Thank you Tony!
