had to stall on my carbs because I can't get a clear ID on the type series 21 or 22..got a post on the carb forum..
got my stuff to finish off the pipes which will work out better ... this way I can set the carbs with the pipes inplace.. pix when done:P

finished my pipes this weekend.
it took 2 50' rolls of 1".. I should have carried the wrap out farther but live and learn. the turnout will be put on after I have the carbs done and she is running again. thatway I can adjust the sound to where I want it.
I re-enforced the joint between the collectors and the final pipe.in case I hit a speed bump I don't want it to break.
still no luck finding that pilot. its like a n424-25 but mine is 19mm and the 424-25 is 15mm. also mine has 3 holes and the other has 2 holes..
found a really nice stock sportster seat that would look just rightB) this is the pilot I need

seriously bummed.
these carbs no longer have replacement parts in stock so I'm gonna have to drill the pilots which is highly not recommended. got no other choice unless some one cares to donate a set of mikuni bs34 carbs to the cause... yeah I'll hold my breath for that.. anyway...

Just a thought. Maybe you could search ebay for a set BS34 carb you could use for parts.

my carb is a keihin not a mikuni, but still I did try to get some mikunis on ebay last night. there are single carbs for sale but not a rack. I will probibly have to start trying to get them 1 at a time.
also wiredgeorge told me that the keihin carbs were not a stock issue on cop bikes.
I still plan on drilling out the pilots when I find the right size they need to be..
thats the big problem for now just getting the info on the correct jetting,,

Yeah, Rob sure does take his time helping out. Great guy! Glad you're back on track. Your previous post kinda scared me 'cause my 750E2 has the same carbs. My first reaction was, "Oh crap!", even though I'm not ready to mess with my carbs. Thanks for the follow-up!

well if you need some pilots for a kz750E I have 4:laugh:
gonna try the stock #40pilots and #140 mains.

still waiting for parts, but hey I'm just glad Rob was able to find them. I haven't been idle though.:lol: .I got the other seat. its close but still not what I'm looking for .gonna post the seat for sale here and if no responce then I'll put it on feE-bay .the new one is better than what I had and will do for now. these are pix of what my bike has become. still have some little stuff but all in all this is the beast.got a question about will a harley speedo work on a kz. and what is the speedo ratio 1:1,2:1.etc...
