Just been on their site and the 2000 ,4000, S, rev limiter, coils etc etc are all still listed for all of the 4 cylinders.
Some of the items such as the 2000 don't all show up on one page in the model search but they do show up in the drop down menu of model fittment when you click on the item type you are looking for in their seperate catagories.

With the Dyna S now at $182.00 and seeing all the Dyna S knockoffs i'm wondering how many they are actually selling. Not to long ago I could buy a Dyna s for about $102. I have bought several of the Knockoff units in the last year and they are working fine. The last one I bought for $39.00 needed a bit of filing on the plate and some fine tuning on the advancer but for $150 less who cares. If the original units were being produced in the US I would probably buy from Dyna but they are not. I don't see how they could raise the price to $182 when  years ago I paid $102 and the production had switched to China.

$190 - $250 in the UK - why wouldn't you take a punt on a copy for a quarter of the price ?

I've got a knockoff DS2-1 and it works fine.  The same thing happened when Flowmaster's patent on their series 40 muffler (for muscle cars and hot rods) expired.  Now you can buy the same design muffler from many other manufacturers for around $40 each instead of $90 each from Flowmaster.

Interesting. I only looked on two model pages, and they showed the same thing.

What led me there in the first place is that APE shows the 2000, 4000, and wires as discontinued, then I did not see them at Dynatek either.

They could have made the site search a little more straight forward and simpler but it's all there once you dig a little.
Here's the 2000 and 4000 etc.

I bought a knock off Dyna S and the rotor was 2* off so it wouldn't work. The seller was using the Dyna pics and said it was adjustable with 4 settings and a limiter all lies. I talked to the Dyna Rep. and he told me they moved to Montana and the Dyna is now made in Utah. Bought a rotor for $35 delivered and still using the cheap pickups. The Rep said they are junk so I don't expect them to last long. Listed the lies on my feedback with a pic of their ad. They begged me to change it and I told them IT STAYS.

Yes if you look at the adds it says 4 timing curves, fully adjustable limiter, but we all know they are talking about the Dyna 2000 or 4000 fully electronic ignitions. Cracks me up that they don't even know what they are selling. But hey if they work. So they say the Dana is made in Utah, does that mean assembled in Utah with Chinese parts?  Are the pickups and plates made in the US or China that is the million dollar question.

I called them to order the rotor. They're two types. One for the early Z1's and the one I got for the later years. The guy was very informative and told me nothing is MADE IN CHINA from them. He laughed about the knockoffs.
Highly recommend them Dynateck 1 800 928 3962

If thats the case I will have to rethink the whole thing. I was under the impression along with what other people were saying that Dyna moved production to China. I really hate to support their products if at all possible. I wish they (Dyna) would state in huge writing on their site that says this in so many words. So far I have had good luck with the knock offs but time will tell.  I dont think I would laugh at the knock offs it's gotta be cutting into their business.

If you look at the ebay adds for the knock offs there may be 20 or so dealers but all of them are out of New Jersey and a few out of California, now I dont think New Jersey has that many motorcycle parts suppliers
