Found it. Post #669817.

I had forgotten about the built in 'timing light'. Fine overall concept but for the inability to independently rotate each points set for timing.

Great investigative work! I have to admit I have never quite seen a setup like that one before. Ingenious ? Yes, but somehow I am thinking it isn't the most dependable thing to have. Looks like the points were just riveted to the plate. Could be a REAL pain to replace them if you had to. Certainly was some thought put into it though.
