Honeywell pressure sensors I used were a new product so they offered them at incredibly cheap prices. Then after some industries started using them, and had to rely on them, they jacked price way up. Manufacturers usually can't afford to re-tool at a moments notice, so they get stuck paying high prices.

No one wants to pay $400 for a sync tool they will only use once every few years. I haven't seen any electronic sync tool that has +/- 1mm mercury precision and similar accuracy. It's quite a pleasure to use.

I have used the same Morgan carbtune for over 20 years and have had great results, out of curiosity last week i warmed up one of my bikes and tested each slide on the same cylinder at idle and up to 3k revs, each slide reads the same, not bad for a £52- investment over 20 years ago, they have also paid for themselves doing the occasional balance for paying customers, so even at around $130- they are a sound investment, i am also going to make one like Warren showed us on here just to try it out.

Just dont forget the restricters in the indicator loop to stop the bearing getting sucked into the cylinders Kev.

Got some from the morgan balancer, will make them the same length as the morgan ones, it's going to be a winter job, i started one today, i made some vac take off for my little superfour Adnoh, these i made because the space is restricted and my existing ones have no slots or hex to drive them in.

My mechanic swears by his Techmate unit and has used the same one for decades so when a super clean unit popped up I grabbed it!
