Hi, i am looking to buy parts to complete a set of 33mm smoothbores. I mainly need the main throttle cable bracket (the one that bolts on to #3 carb) and the steel bracket that joins them together (air filter side)
I would also be interested in any other spares you may have laying about as long as they are in good usable condition. Also any VM29 smoothbore parts if anyone has any.
TIA

Were these parts used on any production bike carbs ?
I would make the parts if none available.

No they were not used on any production bike, but a popular upgrade back in the day for the big Z's and other Jap bikes.
I could probably make the long bracket but i want them to be original if possible. The throttle cable bracket would need to be original, to complex to make.

Thanks Steve, i have tried all of the worldwide Mikuni stockists. I know a lot of the parts are discontinued now, but was hoping maybe to find one that had some NOS parts still hiding in their parts drawers. The jets and gaskets are readily available but all of the carb specific bracketry and ancilliaries are sadly no longer available.

The ones that are somewhat complete are being sold for crazy money. You might try the KZ Market on FB.

Your only option is finding a parts set. I had the similar issue when I bought a set of 33’s and realized bubba had hacked off one the cable mounts… I looked forever, never found one. I had to disassemble a working set I had to take both to a fab shop and they ended up repairing both. I did notice the one used as an example also was damaged. The threads for the adjuster barrels were stripped.

A fabrication shop can make these if they have one for a template.
