Terry to answer your question, no the subframe will be welded to the frame. I will probably run some wires through the frame and such I thought about maybe trying to find an aluminum one that would work. I could just weld some tabs on the frame and bolt it on. I might give it some more thought though. Damn gotta spend more time on ebay.

That holes and screen thing on the starter cover, I have seen somewhere bunches of smaller holes in the front sprocket cover. Might go well with your look.

Oh yeah the sprocket cover is getting the same treatment. As well as other parts. I did the the coil brackets last night. I lightened them by 16 grams. not to bad considering they only weighed 150 grams to start with. I'm gonna do just about everything i can get a drill bit through.

Good evening. If any of ya'll have been following my threads like my differences between 82 and 85 gpz 750 motors you know that I have ran into a snag trying to put my 82 gpz 750 motor in my 85 gpz 750 frame. well I have come up with a solution I had to cut some of the case. this first pic shows the 85 motor.
If you notice on the left the mount is narrower than it is on the 82 or kz 750

Heres some pics of my progress lately. I have rebuilt my forks and painted them black. I also painted the frame and wheels white I also finished the front motor mounts mounted the the rear tire hugger. waiting on my subframe to show up. I ordered a cr 250 subframe should cut down on weight and be easier to work with.

Well I finished the tire hugger and threw a 15 minute paint job on it. Looks kinda cool. Not the actual color green im going for but I like the way it pops with the white.

mounted the rear of the tank tonite. Just made a little bracket that welds to the backbone works nice and simple. Also recieved my subframe and began removing brackets from it. Should get it mounted this week.
