Most of this guy's posts were on one thread where he was trying to help someone with carbs.  There was conflicting advice that likely pissed him off.  I've seen it in other threads where someone is looking for help and several eager people will throw differing advice at him.  Perhaps it's better if only one person provides guidance, regardless of whether our opinion differs.  Think about it from the perspective of the receiver...conflicting advice is just a headache.

Or just have thicker skin, give your advice and move on.
That would accomplish the same objective.

RonnieV and Mikaw, you guys hit the nail on the head.  When I had a problem with cams and cam chain, there were plenty of responses, some had a little different approach than others.  That's what I needed to determine my solution.  So this thing works the way it's intended - an exchange of knowledge and ideas for everyone's benefit.

It has been a rite long time since there was a serious dust up on this site, and personal attacks have been almost non-existent as long as I have been hanging out here. I have been disagreed with and corrected as much as anybody here, and more than many. Never have I thought any of that was personal. The free exchange of ideas and experiences is how we all learn.

I didn't even know that "Haynes" did a manual for "the Falcon" that's something else I have learned here, could of saved Solo and I hours.

Yes! But in typical Haynes fashion they got the torque settings for the plasma injectors in/lb's instead of ft/lb's and the schematic for the thruster assembly reversed so you really have to watch for that otherwise you won't get beyond the outer atmosphere before needing a rescue shuttle and a box of Helicoils.
I'd much prefer to use the genuine manual but it only comes in Corellian and i've never been that good at understanding foreign languages.
