Not the furthest we've driven to pick up a toy but about 1800 miles later it's home.  I think most kits are never really finished and that applies here but just being within six feet of it makes me smile so it's OK if it demands attention.

It's an RCR GT40 replica.  It's got an aluminum tub chassis, 375 HP SBF 302 mated to a Porsche G50/52 five speed.  I'm about 5'10", 180  I have to work to get in or out.  It's very snug at my shoulders.  I love it.

The GT40 would have fit the trailer I've had for over 30 years but the car that got traded in wouldn't.    The truck that used to pull that trailer was also pearl yellow with murals.  I need to find a picture of it.  It's an amazing piece.
