My wife has the old ones in our family.  The Ford is 99 this year but her Chevy is only 54.

She is a rare one and I looked a long time to fine a girl like her.   But it ain't all boost and tire smoke.   When we bought that '68 Camaro it was supposed to be my ALOHA BOBBY and ROSE tribute project and I built the blown 406 for my '66 tube axle Mustang.  One day she said "That Camaro is too mice to cut up.  Why don't you put the 6-71 in it and convert it to an automatic and give it to me."   I know most guys are told that there's no money for their toys.  Around here it's "my car needs a new engine more than your car."   and I wouldn't change a thing.  She offered to sell her Dodge to finance something I want but it's possible she knows I'd hate to see that car leave.

Heres our 29 Ford  "Huckster"  conversion from way back. She had a full engine rebuild before I got her, going to restore all the wood and make new seats next month.

Man you don't hear that name every day. That movie was, for me, the beginning of a 50 year love affair with the gen 1 Camaro. Very well played, Sir.

Don't be ridiculous! It's only a flesh wound!

Nice truck.  This picture makes me think of this quote from Parks and Recreation.  Except replace the words "bacon and eggs" with the word floor jacks.

Same thing here.  I saw the movie in July of '75 and by September I had a '67 that was going to be my tribute car.  I didn't have the space or funds to make it happen though.  I had been doing Corvette repair for about a year and a half by then and had the skills to make the flares in fiberglass which was the plan.  I did flare a '69 Z-28 for a friend at that time.  Just did the rears but it looks badass.

Now I can make the flares in metal which is the plan.  After taking my '68, my wife found what appears to be a legit '68 Z to replace the green one.  It's a CA/AZ car with very little rot but it's been kicked around a bit so I've got a lot of extra work but I ain't complaining
