SandRacer!
Been a while since I've seen a post from you. Do you still have the Fat Kaw? Always loved that bike.... wish I'd bought it.

I wish you or apeman had bought it, too. No, she's gone (sold) so now I'm building the Lean Kaw (440 chopper) for my #2 son. But, since it won't fit in his sea bag, I'll get to play with it for some time.

I now run a small 5 person company specializing in parts for Vintage Japanese motorcycles...

Previously spent 30+ years in the IT profession - started at the bottom - operations, worked up through assembler programming and into higher level languages. Spent many years in design, then strategic consulting - got very tired of being on the road (or should I say in the air) all the time. My specialization was high-volume electronic commerce.

LTD, who do you work for. I am a Customer Demand Manager for a large Aluminum sheet and plate producer in Davenport Iowa.

I work for a company called Dukes, Inc. No one's ever heard of it, but it's been in business for 50 years.
Here's our web page, if you're interested...

I've heard of Nichols (I assume that's your company), but we don't buy directly from them. But you may supply material to the people we buy from here in SoCal.

Actually I work for Alcoa. We have a plant on the other side of town from Nichols. We make Aircraft sheet and plate among other things.
