I promptly got rid of 'em after realizing how much work it was gonna take to restore 'em
You ain't kiddin! But they're almost done!
I like the looks of the givy, but if the emgo beer cooler is waterproof, i like that.
I've got an old trunk...Noven I think is the name..who knows.
I painted to match the bike, it's still ugly, but it will hold 4 six packs of long necks!

With mine the trunk sticks out over the light and rack several inches, if I move it forward even to the back of the rack the trunk is over the seat a little bit and won't allow it to open. And it won't allow me to use the sissy bar no matter what position it is in.
Something to keep in mind.

...flht - thanks for the info. Those reviews there at JCW led me to believe that a trip to the hardware store was gonna be needed. And I'm figurin' that other things can be done to strengthen 'em. JMK.
Got a pic of the luggage rack setup you're planning on using?
I've got a whole series of pics on how I set up that Vetter to ride on what was the radio carrier on mine, one wingnut disconnect and all, sturdy as all getout - might be able to save you some cogitating on how to nail it down...
