A lot of 2K cans have a 24 hour window after pulling the pin so plenty of "flash off" time between coats
Yes, that's correct, there is a window for that paint. I used one entire rattle can on these two items. I need to put the tank horizontally next time to get better gloss on the top of it. There are several, at least 3, coats of clear on these two. I lost track. Flash off is only 20 minutes or so, thus can recoat then.

I put a racing strip on the tank and the front fender. It's the first time I've tried doing something like this and I think it turned out pretty well.

Wow, I had no idea they did that. Thanks. Things just happen with me I guess. I had the off-white paint laying around and realized that it could make for a nice racing stripe. I didn't use my pinstriping tool. I did it with tape. Maybe I'll try pinstriping on my other motorcycle project. I really like the blue paint though. I may use it elsewhere on other projects. I got the paint from 66autocolor.
