How do you store/protect your sidecover? I have a side bag on my KZ and have taken the side cover for that side off.

Why don't you put it back on and do what you did here?

I wanted a stylish side bag so I could carry stuff; I got one.
I took the clutch side, side cover OFF so the bike could accommodate the side bag.
It is unclear why youre suggesting I put the cover back on. I dont WANT the side cover on, I have the side bag in its place.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Most of the sidecovers are covering the sides of the bikes.
No one I know removes them for safekeeping.
Throw them in a black ziplock bag with desiccant if you are concerned.
Send a photo of the bike in the sunlight.
The sidecover has a yellow shift compared to the tank which has a shift towards the blue end.
Don't worry it's not that noticeable.
I work with color all the time so these things I get ocd with.
good job

I used a filter on that photo that tends yellow-ish. Prior to its repair, the tank had a small dent in the front, a slight dent in the back, had peeling pinstriping, and the green had come off on the top of the tank, exposing the silver below. The tank has none of that now and Im pretty happy with it.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
