Is it bad to have no baffles in it or should i get baffles for it its a 77 kz650 an right now i have washers as a baffle an it looks bad

Your stock KZ650 will not only sound better with baffles it will run better. You need an appropriate level of backpressure for the engine to develop full power at low to medium rpm. Ed

It's hard to see what you're dealing with from the tiny pics, but you might be able to plug the holes. or maybe weld on an end plate. ??? I was able to cut a couple of threads & install brass plugs from the hardware store. I think I used a high temp thread locker to keep them from vibrating loose.
