76' KZ900 Body Work / Repaint....?

So I'm now the new proud owner of this 76' KZ900....

I've been able to locate most of the replacement parts I need but unable to locate OEM bodywork in the green color....
Can anyone direct me to a source for new body work...or a reliable source for a quality repaint.....

Thanks, Eric

Check with member paintworkz he might have the paint codes. NEW? Not likely to happen, it'd be used, and unless all the pieces were stored together probably aged differently piece by piece. If I'm not mistaken it's going to be a multi-stage candy paint job and a bit pricey, what's wrong with the current paint set?
my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550

Andrew,

The paint is faded and the tank has a dent.....So I really want a new paint job....I do have a painter that can do the job for just about $1200.....But I'd rather find a newly painted set and then I can sell the older set....
I'm sure that PaintWorkz has the paint....

I have a 76 tank that was a take off because of a small dent. THINK i paid 450.00 for it a few years ago. Where do you live?

When you work on the bike, make sure you turn the front fender around. It's on backwards.

And whats with the front indicators ?

I had mine that way for a while. It looked like a eagle beak the other way. When they came out with the squared look, I turned it back around. Everything in the 80's was squared and I hated it. Only lasted a decade and now it looks cool.

The headlight ears have been changed for the type, which I think were on some of the later 650 models, where there's a separate hole for the indicators to mount instead of them going through the headlight bucket like they did on most of the other models and certainly the KZ900..
