Side cover repair was created by SWest
Coming home from the high desert I almost lost my RT side cover. I had the back mount safety wired. The front broke and the lower mount was gone when a low life tried to get to my battery at chaparral last year. He was acting like he was working on his brakes on his POS Honda whatever. I wish I had noticed it then. I would have made him have a FKed up day.
I used my fiber glass supplies I have on hand. Honorable mention to davido for inspiring me to use it. Also to Bruce. You were right. ABS glue would have been better to repair the boxes. The fiber glass resin doesn't stick as well. Oh well, live and learn.

Back on the bike. Now I can ride into town and get some new screws and supplies. Didn't want ride it with the ugly wires showing. I'll paint it when I get back. B) Still have the oil cooler fittings to make up. The ones I need don't exist.

Squirted some paint and clear coat on it. Now I have to do the other side. New hardware next.
