kz650b rear mud protector

Is there a way to fashion a simple mud protector because my rear fairing tail and battery get dirty with dirt and dust and chain oil. What can I do?

The rear mudguards are in two parts: the inner and outer. The outers have this goofy looking overhang so often get junked or cut down.

On the 1000R, and maybe others, the US spec outer mudguard is shorter than the euro spec. Anyone got one? I need that part.

The rear fender on a 650 is half plastic (front portion) and half metal, chromed or painted.
Sounds like both halves have been removed from your bike.
Buy two (if needed) plastic front half's, install the better one up front where currently missing, and cut the second one in half, and use it where the chrome one came off.
I attached a licence plate mount to it:

RST I said it before, that bike is so cool. I really like Gullari sport seats too, 'peroid mods' allowed here :)

That's too bad. Do you have the inner one? Maybe go with the fender mod like the one above.
