So I am going to paint my tank a pretty neat design . I am debating sectioning the tank off into pieces or doing it whole . Might just do the sides. Idk. I would like input on what you guys think would look cool. Im 20, and My mind is set on the cool factor still . Here is a picture of the design that will go inside the lines of the pices. The Base color will be gloss black to contrast my engine silver. Ignore the finger print in the center I did this is 20 minutes. All input is accepted guys and gals -Schmeck

I think I follow your concept. It could be cool. Do you plan on painting yourself or do you have a shop to assist. Airbrushing may be an option.

BTW, the object in your photo reminds me of HVAC furnace filters.

It could be cool. Like a late 60s "LACE" paint job? Make sure you top it off in urethane if you're spray bombing it.

Agreed. Or fishnet stockings. It's hard to judge the scale of the design in that photo.

I'm going to pinstripe around the net design so it looks less like a filter and more like scales/lizard skin. This was a quick test run without sanding, clear coat or any of the prep. The tank will look much better . Will get some pictures up of what Im painting so you all can see what Im going to do . Will keep you posted -Schmeck

If you haven't already looked into it, SprayMax is a 2K Clear that's not harmed by gasoline. I have had it on both my bikes for over a year and it's an amazing finish, from a can.

Okay so the reviews on duplicolor clear are not great . So instead of taking a chance , I will go with spraymax 2k clear . Which can is it? There are a few of them
