Well I decided to Paint my KZ1000. was created by badrhino

My friend offered to paint my bike for free. So why not. I am going to paint it Candy Blue with a Silver and Black stripe on the side of tank and duck tale. :woohoo: We sanded everything down last night and he is going to primer this evening. It should look saweet! I attached a picture of a ZRX that the paint job will be similar to except for the candy blue will pop even more. I will post pictures as we go.

Lets just hope it looks that good. lol I know we don't have as much real estate to work with on these bikes but it should look good.

Well we got it primed. Is it a good idea to use Epoxy Primer on both the plastics and the metal surfaces? He is using Kustom Shop Paints and Primers. Has anyone else ever heard of these? Are they decent?
