Clear coat looked a little rough so he wet sanded and shot it with some more. Hopefully after I get it back and after a couple weeks when it gets buffed it will be smooooove and shiny.

Here is what it looked like before and the paint was in pretty poor shape.

I liked the color before, but hey it was a free paint job so we used what he had.

Well the guy I had paint my bike didn't really know what he was doing on the clear coat and it came out really rough looking. It will need sanded and resprayed. He used a Urethane Base/Clear Coat. Do I have to stay with Urethane Clear to spray it again?
If so has anyone tried the Spray Max 2K? I heard it is really good.

You can't tell too good by the pics., but it is really rough like it was drying before it hit the parts.

I don't think you will have to respray for the roughness. Although more coats are always better. You will want to stay with the Urethane 2 part clear. It is the best at resisting fuel and is very durable. The roughness may be from orange peal or over spray when spraying an adjacent part. But it should sand out with 1500 grit and then followed by 2000 grid and then it should polish up with a compound and buffer. Should get a nice smooth shine. Check out OMR's headlight shell guide in the file base. That's what I went buy. Gives some very good tips. Good luck.
