AS for side cases and valve cover I go a tad further with a set from Home Depot... Buff pad on a drill... Start with Ruby then finish off with white compounds.
Then after on the bike, just some aluminum polish here and there to keep a nice shine... I'm not into chrome so buffed aluminum is all I desire.... Anyone can polish aluminum, the ones with buffed/polished aluminum says a lot about their character, pride of ownership etc...

I used to get the shakes like that, but I found that drinking single malt Scotch cured them. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
