Thanks, as with most things, I assumed that. It was more a question of comparing the prices of replacing vs. refinishing.
I'll definitely check them out.

yes I used a "less expensive" place once for steel parts, they are less expensive for a reason. After the peeling process began i sent everything to Ronnie, you get what you pay for, bad prep =bad chrome longevitybrowns is great for aluminum plating,but theres lots of more affordable platers for steel parts

well then i think you should start a plating shop too.:woohoo:ive got plenty of chrome plated steel parts with well over 20 years on them that werent done by browns,on the other hand ive had aluminum parts that werent plated by browns that plating peeled off in less than a year! :S :laugh:
