I used to use Imron. before I switched to PPG. First of all it is what is known as a "Modified IsoCyanide" and should only be sprayed with a fresh air respirator or an airtank respirator. It took me almost three years for the Cyanide to dissipate from my blood. I had to go once a month to have blood work done to monitor it. In comparison to the other paints mentioned it costs a small fortune. I have used POR-15 on frames a decade ago and it is still not showing any evidence of rust, besides that. it is not anywhere as toxic as Imron.

Hmmm...nobody has tried the implement paint, eh?
I found some guys on the greatlakes4x4 site stating that they used it with the hardener on their Jeeps and other and it worked pretty well. I'm sure those things take a beating like a frame would.
I'll report back if it works out or not.

Well, I'm done spraying/curing. So far I've nicked it a couple of times as I reassemble pieces, but I'm not sure what that means for durability. It seems harder than spray can paint, but I'm betting it will get dinged up pretty good after I ride this season. Oh, well - I'll take it to a pro this next winter and get it painted.
