Incorrect. I have the motorcycle color formula book from the mid 80's. It has all brands listed and many color formulas from many years. This book hasn't been available for over a decade.
I also have the master PPG fleet color book. The formula given is not the same as the one found in the fleet book. Companies like PPG give you reference colors to tint from. Thats why the prophet machines never exactly match colors .......only find close alternatives. Remember too, KHI Japan/USA used different suppliers for raw goods like paint. So toner bases used were different from each manufacture.
Sometimes I think Ron has it more together than the rest of us........:P
