i'm gonna wanna get in line too...what would he need to charge to start making seats for all of the guys that are gonna want one... i think it sits on the bike better than some of the seats that are really pricey ....it looks like it is part of the kz lines and not an afterthought...excellent work there...can you really let us know if he is willing to make more...thanks craig

Thanks- and sorry to leave you hanging... trying to mod my swingarms.
He would not take $ from me since I did some favors for him a few times... and he wanted another, so I helped him again and wanted to see how good it really was when I got it home. I will pursue the cost to make it for anyone interested on Monday. He does a an upholstery shop here in SoCal... Funny though, he has done a few jobs for me and every time I leave thinking he did not comprehend me and it will look like shit... he Always surprises me for the better
I may take a spin with it on a bike tomorrow, but as for a quick test 'fit'- comfort/feel was great. He used the original LTD padding, reshaped it, and appears he added some filler as necessary. He doesn't say much (see above), so I peaked.
I plan on him doing another one for me, and I will ask to move the bump back maybe 3-4 inches. I'm 6' and the next one is going to be fitted to a one-person bike (no passengers) so the move back will be nice. This one is a bit further back from the LTD and naturally not as much of a bump. I usually ride the LTD with my butt on the bump... never did like that:dry:

ive had a few ltd seats redone in the stock pattern over the years but in leather, the material definately makes a big differance in the comfort level.any idea how much he chopped off the height in the rear?ive always wanted to shorten one and yours looks just about right!

i'll try and post some pics comparing it to an LTD seat, but my place is a mess right now.
The new seat's height from seat pan lip to heighest point in the back is 5"
The LTD same measurement is 6.5"
