Best color for selling?

I'm getting ready to have my tank, side covers and tail painted. I've narrowed it down to black, silver, or red; I'll be happy with any of the three.
My question is, which color would make the bike most attractive to potental buyers, if I ever decide to sell it?

For awhile, I was wanting to just go with flat black. I eventually decided on going with a color, primarily to preserve value. Maybe that's not the best way to go. Flat black looks cool, and allows someone to choose their own color, if they like.

OTOH, When I first got my KZ, I had fixing it up and selling it. Nowadays, after I've fixed her all up and made her pretty, I shudder to even think about selling her. :lol:

If stock, as already mentioned, factory colors with pin striping will be what the older farts will be looking for.
If a modified version has been accomplished especially with buffed/chrome, gloss black for the younger for the mean street fighter look and appeal.

Don't know if this applies to bikes, but on cars I've heard red described as "resale red".

That makes sense. I've had an ebay search set for KZ650s for a long time, and every time I look, it's the bright red one that always catches my eye.
