At Buchanan. :)

Excel Takasagos, undrilled (must have them drilled for your hub).

www.buchananspokes.com/Excel_undimp.htm

The 5.5x17 is on there.

The 3.5x17 is a pre drilled unit:

www.buchananspokes.com/Excel_dimp.htm

REAR PART # REWM1417
FRONT PART # REWM61740

Also, they don't have a spoke kit for our bikes for 17's, so you'll need custom spokes and nipples to mate them up.

I went with the heaviest gauge of spokes they had, and some nicer high quality nipples.

All said and done retail on my purchase should have been close to $850.00/$900.00.

Having a huge discount at a motorcycle shop you work at that sells for Buchanan helps though. ;)

They are a great company to deal with.

As for tires, I'm gonna be running Pilot Sports.

These rims obviously need to be run tubed, and the pattern on the inside of Pilot Sports is really friendly to a tube. A few of the guys at work who run motard bikes use them.

Good performance, good price through the shop, and good compatibility.

****EDIT: Added pic of tires.

It was worth a try. :)

Thanks anyhow though!

I ended up buying a 10 pack of those exact bearings on ebay for $10.00.

I'm just gonna bore out the stock hub to accept a 47mm front bearing. The only part that will be pretty thin is the seal retaining pocket... which is fine, cause the seal doesn't get a load on it, comparably.

I'm overboring the rear end to take a bearing too... the stock bearings from the R6 are 28mm ID by 62mm OD... which there is plenty of room for.

Like I said though, thanks anyhow!
