Does anyone know the fork diameter on the KZ750's of 1977?  Thanks!

thanks. Im actually looking for a spare set and I want to put gaiters on them. Do you think a 39mm will be too wide? in your opinion would the 3mm difference be too much?

You Can't put 39mm forks in 36mm clamps if that was your question...

I think the question the OP has it if the 39 mm gaiters are too big for 36 mm forks?  At least that is how I read it.

If so he'd have to use clamps and that would look cheesy.

I was told the forks are 36mm wide. the boots im thinking of are 39mm. I was wondering if the boots are way too wide or just a bit.

Assuming you're asking if 39mm fork gaiters would fit - I think it would not work well.

I use these on my 36mm forks and they're perfect: www.z1enterprises.com/vintage-style-univ...ers-aka-gaiters.html
