You're just extra hard on things Steve! I think it's all of the blinding UV light and heat from your re-entry into the visible spectrum from the blinding speeds. LOL
I also agree that Z1E is great, and will have no problem with warrantying your wipers. If I remember right, I think they are ~35 buck each. Don't quote me on this, I was wrong once.
As another member pointed out a while back, rubber shelf life depends upon how it was stored. My wipers are 39 years old and still on my bike with no cracks and still pliable. Drgamma has a box full of rubber gaskets and NOS o-rings that are at least 40 years old, or better stored in his workshop in a cardboard box that are still completely usable.
Although I would not want to buy a 40 year old tire (safety reasons) , things like seals and wipers should be fine unless stored where UV light and excessive heat can dry out the compounds in the rubber. it should be fine.
