Hi Everyone,
So recently I was looking at a kawasaki Z1B to buy and came across one with a dual chain drive instead of the original single chain drive. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this, why it was done back in the day, and any other info! Dont want to purchase a headache

I bought the duel chain setup years ago. One of the link pins was backing out so I went back to 630. Only chain I could find was an industrial chain. Looked good but was junk. That frame looks to have been braced.

A dual chain mod was done in the early 70th because of the chain quality and strength was very poor.
But it is no problem to buy the bike if the price is right.
Do you have any more pics of the bike?
