Never had any problems with the ground to header (Marving) when cornering hard.
My problem with ground clearance wasnt on hard cornering,it was on gentlemanly straight line riding. I had something like 7cm twixt exhaust ( Harris) and the road, with me on it and that was before I gave up smoking and became a fat bastard.
Mind you,my donor bike was a CSR. Going from long, leading axle front forks and a 19inch wheel to the 17inch ZXR wheel and upsydupsy forks was a big drop. The new rear shocks were the same length as the originals but the back wheel, although it changed from a 16 inch to a 17inch,I think it still lost a couple of centimeters due to the aspect ratio of the tyre. Without the extra lift of the extenders (or some other method) it would have been impractical at the best and dangerous at the worst.
