EXTRA CROSS PIECE ?
25 Dec 2018 14:53
Merry Christmas to all,
I'm still in the assembly phase of my 1981 KZ1000J ad have a cross piece that I'm not sure where it goes lol. I do have the FSM but cannot find anything that addresses this and the pictures don't really help. The pics I have included show the ones I have installed. Any help or if you need more information, please give me a shout. As always, Thank you in advance and may you have a Happy New Year, Jon

I knew I forgot something lol The bike isn't close by so I will post a picture soon. It looks like the ones that mount the engine in. About a foot long and threaded on both ends. As soon as I get a picture, I will post. I do appreciate your posts. Thank you, Jon

By cross pieces I presume you are talking about engine bolts judging by your last post.

it is similar to the ones that go to the engine but I don't see a place for it. The engine is mounted in 3 places, 1in the back top, 2 in the front. I am cornfused lol
