That looks pretty bad to me. I would install new pads and either have the rotors resurfaced (see link below) or replace them . Ed

We're those disks factory drilled? The pattern looks asymmetrical.

Mine are the same. I don't know why they did them that way and the positions effected wheel balance. Had to move them so they wouldn't be too far out. Trial and error. Finally got them right. I had organic pads at first and could feel the holes in the lever. Went to sintered pads and that stopped. What kind of pads do you have now?

Thats pretty bad gordone
I ve got a band appearing where the pad is not contacting the disk as hard as the rest of the pad area This is on a brand new disk with new organic pads.
I only bought them as they are soft compared to other types and after forking out for new disks i wanted to make them last as long as possible. maybe they are too soft and caught an edge of one of the holes and grooved the pad.
My thoughts are to remove the pad and flatten it on a sheet of sand paper placed on a peice of glass or buy new pads if its bad and check disk holes

There are three kind of pads. Organic, sintered and ceramic. Organic is softer and goes away faster. Sintered lasts longer and is a little harder on the diss. Ceramic is very hard on them but lasts longer. I bought a disk from a KZP and it was worn almost to the limit. It had ceramic pads. I got it for next to nothing to see if my disks were the problem, they weren't. Went to sintered and the pulsing went away. No appreciable wear after 5000 miles and the disks seem to be cleaning up. I do have a little squeak though but I think it's because they became dirty from the organic residue left in the disks. Only one side. Need to clean it again.

My pads are brand new, but not the disc (only sand blasted), looks like the disc is uneven from eraliere. But take a look at picture below,
looks like the pads is adapt to the surface of the disc?
The brake feel good... I think after a while I will got 100% contact
Left:
surface between the disc and pad?
