Jon was in the process of making lowered triple trees so the front end wasn't so close to the ground. He went out on his first group ride, stopped too quick, high sided and went down destroying the bike. He got hurt so bad he may never ride again. :(
Be sure of your clearance before getting shorter cables. Your life might depend on it.
Just saying.

Check with Motion Pro. I'd also check Z1Enterprises. You can send them a message from the websites. Take Steve's note heart attack serious. Double check your routing and ensure they don't bind or tighten up when you turn the handlebars lock to lock.

I had to change my speedo cable. I called Z-Power and explained that I wanted to go from a ZXR wheel into a KZ1000 clock and they sent me something that fitted both ends but was too short. I sent it back with the right measurement I needed and they sent me one that worked.
Cant remember what I did with my throttle cable.I know I had to go from a double cable (push/pull) ZXR control to the single cable attachment on the kz carbs.I and shorten it.ts in the build thread somewhere. My memory is ridiculous!
I also know that I still have to shorten my clutch cable and will be doing that tomorrow (weather permitting) I already picked up a 6mm nipple. I was going to do it today but its been a rainy stay on the couch day. Ill post pictures and results once its done.
