Hardest parts to find for 75 kz400D2 - Disc Brake was created by Jack_Mills
Hello All,
I've been striking out left and right searching for these 2 parts to rebuild my front disc brake caliper.
RING,PISTON SEAL 43049003
DUST SEAL,PISTON 43083001
I have ordered these from 5 different online stores, and all 5 have refunded my money cause they either dont have the stock or cant find them.
I did a pretty extensive Google search the other evening, and found CMS (based in Netherlands) says they have them (awaiting confirmation) , another shop in Sweden also supposedly carries them...and another shop in Mother Russia.
My question to you all: Is there a cross reference, do you have these, where can I get these, and as always thank you very much for your time!

I think you should be ok. Ive used them a lot and theyve always been reliable. Sometimes it takes a while if they dont have something in stock,I think they have to get it direct from Japan .Other than that,no problems.

Are you in need of a front disc? I have a low mile 1978 KZ400 B1 just sitting.
"Partszilla" is a good source for cross reference. But Lately? I tried to sign on after 3 years? And it seems to have changed?
I had to start from scratch?

Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,

Everything has been rebuilt/refurbished...except the caliper. I have a cadaver n some extra parts, including an extra disc, thanks for asking! Partszilla, was one of the companies who said they had the seals in stock, but later refunded my money saying its out of stock and that they dont have access to it elsewhere. Hoping to get a reply from CMS tomorrow, and if anyone has these 2 parts on hand, I'd be interested in buying them also.

Nobody carries these parts because Kawasaki stopped making them. You can swap forks to use a later kz440 caliper. I did a write up on it. common problem.
