I've got a stock 750 twin rotor and caliper laying around. I can take some measurements and pics and if it looks like it will fit you can have them for shipping cost.

The Ninja 250/500 caliper is a popular swap for Kawasaki triples. That caliper works way better than the original. Somebody figured out how to make a simple adapter that's just a piece of steel positioned in the right place to get the spacing right. It works on 500 and 750 triples. For the 400 triples the spacing is different and a more elaborate adapter bracket is needed.

It would be very inexpensive for you to pickup a 250/500 caliper and put it on your disc. Then you can figure out how much spacing is needed and maybe you can fabricate the part out of a piece of steel. Not an easy job but if you have a drill, grinder and some metric taps I bet it can be done.

That would be great! I would really need to know that the mounting bolt pattern on the rotor is. It doesn't look like clearance would be an issue diameter wise. I would take it if it fit. Thanks!

I have to get some pics of the kz200 setup on here so it's easier to understand what I'm dealing with.

What a guy. B) The 750 is heavier so I suspect the brakes would be as well. I would assume the smaller bikes would have smaller disks. A lot of eBay sellers don't want to be bothered with comparing parts. Maybe one of our KZ 400 brothers would be willing to provide measurements too.

Here ya go. Not the greatest pics but it should give you an idea what your dealing with. Forgot that I had the whole damn system including lever m/c lines and splitter too. The splitter normally bolts onto the lower triple clamp, your 200 might object to that but I'm sure it would be easy to fab a bracket. The lines are original so I'd be suspicious of them.

That is amazing!

I will go measure what I can now and post the pics.

Well here it is in all it's glory... It won't be purple when i'm finished.

Here is a look at the caliper mount position.

This is how the OEM brake mounts.

It's hard to tell by the picture, but with my eye it looked close to 2 3/8 inches (60.325mm). Measuring center to center.

Unfortunately, I can't get a measurement of the rotor bolt pattern tonight, but the rotor does measure 3/16th (4.7625mm) of an inch thick with a min of 4mm stamped on it.

So it looks like the caliper won't bolt in and an adapter will have to be made. My 200 caliper mounts are 6 cm and the 750s are closer to 7.5 cm.
Should not be too hard to find a place to machine an adapter.

Just took a rough measurement of the rotor bolt patten and it also looks smaller on the kz200. I measured 1 3/4 inches (4.445cm) center to center. While the 750 is pattern looks closer to 6cm....

Well I guess at least we all know now that a 750 setup won't work on a 200. Anybody else that can put the parts to use PM me. Just don't be a dick and turn around and sell them on eBay.

If an adapter plate was made, would the 750 brake work with the thinner rotor? I recall a video on youtube where a guy put just a kz650 brake caliper on with an adapter and it seemed to work. Actually here it is.

Anyone know if it would it work on a the thinner rotor. I don't need to pull any stoppies, I just want to stop :cheer:

So Bowman, I may still have use for your system, i'll send you a pm.
