I was thinking that maybe they made up,some of the length between the eyelet and the spring perch.

I guess you'll find out soon enough, hopefully they'll work out for you.
If you decide you want to go with a 13" shock, I may have a pair for sale before too long!

I gotta say, In my cheap a$$ world of junkyard and ebay parts where I have to restore or refurb before I install a pile of NEW parts is a welcome sight! :)

Here's how the 14.25" ones look on my 550 (with Kz550C Ltd springs). You can see the bottom is similar tot he stock shocks, so they should have normal clearance for stock exhaust.

I'm curious to see if the 13.5" shocks are different.

Shocks went on without any issue, fork springs in as well.
I really like the fork springs, I also like the shocks but wish I would have went with 13".

Much better ride and feels planted around corners.

glad it worked out, how's the exhaust side?
i think my exhaust must sit just a little tighter to the frame than average, not sure why it's such a tight fit.

My exhaust stops short of the rear shocks, so not much going on there B)

Little update here, with the progressive fork springs I've managed to scrape my header in corners twice now.
I'll be heading to my brothers this week to make some pvc spacers.
I do like the ride but would prefer my front wheel not wash out......

Yeah, I have a softer ride. I like how the wheel follows the small bumps as well as the large ones. I have plenty of clearance. Before I went with spacers, I'd try heavier oil.

I picked up the 412's as well, got a nice used pair but the bushings are trashed. What bushing kits are you guys going with who fit them to the stock KZ mounts? Mine only came with a softail set up that are a bit too wide in diameter. Is everyone custom making spacers or is there a ready made solution? Looks like these are the original bushings I was thinking of buying but I'm worried they won't fit since they're Harley sized?
