1981 KZ 750 LTD rear brake retaining clip?

Looking for a source for the rear brake pad retaining clip for my son's 1981 KZ 750 LTD. The brake pads are easily located but finding this magic clip seems to be a trick. Anyone have a source or a picture of this item? Attached is a pic of the caliper and bracket. To add spice to the situation I am trying to handle this long distance as he is in another state.

That part is still available from Kawasaki. Order from a local dealership or any of the multitude of online dealership sources.

I did contact a dealer who was either unwilling to help or ignorant of what to do with older bike parts. In any case they were unhelpful. In many instances I have found it necessary to do their work for them first by coming in with the part number or a picture in order to walk them thru it. Right now I am looking for an aftermarket supplier but if someone has the correct factory part # that will help the dealer parts man/woman order it. ( Parts counter people aint what they used to be) Thanks.
