76 900 b rear caliper holder

I recently bought a rear caliper and bracket for 76 900 b model. On the bracket, there are 4 metal caps that retain the O rings that fit on the caliper shafts which in turn the dust boots fit over. well at some point in time some rocks got in there and gnarled up those metal caps. I straitened them out carefully but Im afraid they're too far gone to retain the caliper shaft O rings and I havent found a source yet that even mentions them. Does anyone know of a source or have any for sale?

No one displays pictures of them Im trying to up load pics but my computer keeps changing things around with upgrades. The front caliper holders have grooves for the O rings but the rear 900Bs have these tin cups. Its a bad design.

Evidently those caps were made only one year 76 900B and early 1977 kz 1000 ltd.

So Im off to Cabellas tomorrow and size up some brass for a 50 cal S&W maybe drill out the primer pocket and cut to length with a tube cutter and hit it on a sanding disk but that would be too cool,, and easy. these are made of a nickle aloy. and can be made by the thousands, but I only need 4.

Is 50 cal. too big? I have 44's if you need them.

Im thinking .55 Id and make a die for my R.C.B.S. then sqeeze them on with a vice

How about just having some made up on a lathe?

If any thing else I can take a piece of shell casing on a ring sizer and solder a cap on the end as that I do make jewelry any way. It would just take a little trile and error but then maybe not.
