How hard is it to convert police KZ1000 to naked?

Does fairing hold electrical parts and harness?
Is headlight attached to fairing or triple tree?

If you're talking about the most common kz1000p model, both the headlight and the turn signals are part of the fairing. Would be pretty straight fowrad to tap into the connector, that's suppose to connect to the fairing, to wire in new/different turns signals and headlight though.

I'm keeping my eyes open for a KZP in my price range. That's what I'm going to do. Modern suspension like the ones here and Z1 style bodywork. The frames are stiffer than my Z1 and if my swing arm mod works out, I'll make one for it too. One hell of a CYN carver and street fighter. I could thrash the SHT out of it and give Bossie a long deserved rest. :evil:

If that mileage is accurate(and a 2nd owner should theroretically have paper work to prove it) then it sure seems like a great price to me. There's a kzp here locally with similar mileage and they'r trying to get double this price. Granted, I'm not sure they will..

There's one at a salvage yard for $750. Can't afford it right now but I'm in no hurry. I found a 550 LTD the guy wanted $300 for it. No one was interested and he was told by the shops it wasn't worth spending money on. I told him it would cost me $100 to pick it up so I wished him luck. He told me to come and get it, he's moving and he didn't want to leave it behind. Here's my thread on it.
