Zrx swimgarm swappers come in!!

I'm looking for someone that has the bushing needed or can make the bushing.
I'm willing to pay for this bushing....of course at a resineable price.

Which bushing?

I just made a right side top hat style spacer for a Zrx1100 arm. Still working on the left hand side spacer to sleeve the 20mm ID of the Zrx tube to the 16mm Kz pivot bolt.

I made the one from mild steel but could also do aluminum.

I study this last night...looks all I need is a bushing for the bearing side and a long shaft bushing for the other side.
Going to have a friend that works at machine shop make several sets.



Also since the arm is a lot wider the shocks do not line up straight. Will also have some new upper shock mount studs made and will be relocating the mount forward.

How much longer is the swing arm? Moving them forward will raise the ass end? I'll be watching this with interest.

So I designed a bolt in shaft to adapt that swinger to the KZ. The drawing is in my build thread on the first couple pages. Leon has the drawing as well and can make you one.

Yes already have a copy.Thx for sharing. But I thing it would be better for the frame to thigtin up against the arm instead of two bolts fighting each other.

You riding your bike yet. Sure you being a engineer you made your math not questioning you at all. Just like to keep thing simple.

No I have not, but the shaft DOES prevent the side to side motion exactly as stock. The RH roller bearing is the lateral limiting device in the stock ZRX swing arm. It is trapped in a stock ZRX by the RH "top hat" bushing and the LH side sleeve that rides in the needle bearings. All of that is sandwiched between the frame mounts. All the stock ZRX bearings and the LH sleeve is retained and the "top hat" bushing feature for the RH is incorporated into the shaft I designed. Using grade 8 5/8" fine thread bolts to bolt the shaft into the frame holds everything tight and ridged. Mine fits like a glove.

As far as simple, it is one shaft with two bolts. Versus a long bolt, nut, and two individual bushings. So not sure it is more complicated.
