Kick Stand Length

Hey Guys,

Looking to see if anyone knows which KZ kickstand is the longest? I have the crooked 1976 KZ900 A4 and with the new suspension, I want one about a inch or better longer. Obviously it needs the 3/8"-ish hinge slot and the outer spring. Any feedback on those who have knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It is loose and I am going to hone out and bush the frame lug. Either way, with the height of the suspension, I would like it to sit about an inch higher is all.

Yeah, mine was loose for ever and the fork was spread. That little voice said heat it up, don't hit it with a hammer. Why don't I listen to it? I did, it broke and I had to weld it. Got it straight again but I don't trust it anymore. :unsure: I'd like a longer one too. I'll be watching with interest. B)

I went through a ton of KZ kick stands on EBay and found a bunch that looked probable, but without measurements, doesn't help.

KZ550
KZ1000 Shaft
KZ1300 Voyager
KZ650

The 1300 might be promising. I'd ask. If they won't be bothered I'd find another one.

Why? Made a cheap offer and that way I can physically have it in hand. Usually I am pretty good at eyeing things up.

Yeah, I have a pretty good eye too. If the swing arm I cut in half works out, I'll keep doing it, if not, I'll pester with questions. :lol:
