gas tank and grab bar

Need help again. I need to replace a gas tank on a 1982 KZ1100A shaft. I was wondering if anyone knew what other models are compatible for that model year. I also had the same question on the highly coveted rear grab bar for the same bike. I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Is it a US model? I can't find a parts list for it. If it is the same as a '82 KZ750E Grip-Frame P/N 32109-1022. I know where there is one.

The KZ1100-A2 (Shaft) part number (32109-1021) is different, although very close. I wonder what the difference is between the grab bars? Ed

I have researched this myself and cannot come up with a definitive answer. It is very frustrating. I have been looking for this for over 6 years now. I know that they did come with a grab bar but finding one is impossible.

The p/n is only of one digit so might just be the finish, the one I saw was chrome. This is the guy's ad that had it. Contact him and maybe you can figure out with measurements, etc. If it will fit.

Here's the kawasaki part #'s for the gas tank.There are 2 p/n's one for a black tank
and one for a blue tank.You should be able to cross reference part numbers with
other yrs. and models.

51001-5211-H8 TANK-COMP-FUEL,EBONY
51001-1059-A8 TANK-FUEL,BLUE

1981-1983 Kz1100 lists the same part numbers for the black tank
type the part number into your browser .
