Describe what you are using to loosen the nut!!

Earlier, he stated he had recently adjusted the chain... and now it's too tight. So maybe that didn't really happen.
Or, it means either the axle is bound up, crooked, twisted, skewed, or otherwise messed up and not corroded, or just tight as Hell and the nut is metal to metal and dug in with a few hundred pounds of torque.
Like I said before... I have never not been able to bust one loose with simple 1/2" breaker bar and 18" pipe at the end.

Or ride it to the local garage and have them break it free.

Thanks for all your help guys. I busted it free twenty minutes ago. I did like mentioned and soaked it in acetone mixed with gear oil and when I ran out of the actone (my girls nail polish remover B) ) I switched over to used motor oil mixed with sea foam. I'd been wetting it down every couple hours and today I took the cheater bar to it and it busted free! Chains now tightened within spec hopefully I didn't mess anything up to bad with it being so tight. I did have to take it out last night because my friend got stranded and I know that's not good for it.

Unfortunately no torque wrench on hand. I got it pretty good though and I made sure to use some anti-seize
