Retro Windshield for "Naked" KZ1000 Police. (Pics)

Hello. You all have been a great help to me in the past. I was wondering if you could help me find a windshield for my KZ1000 Police (1987).

The black bike in the photo is the style of screen that I'd like. I have looked at a bunch of websites that have similar ones but none of them say they will fit my motorcycle. (Mine is the silver one.)

Do any of you have this bike or have any suggestions? How hard is it to modify an existing windscreen to fit?

There are that style wind shields on Palm Springs CL in the parts section.

I see you are located in Alberta so it may be worthwhile paying a visit to your local bike shop. Big or small all motorcycle shops in Canada get their stuff / weekly order from Parts Canada the wholesaler who in turn handle the drag Speialities stuff. If you see something you like in the catalog the shop may be able to advise on how the thing is fitted. If you give them the cat # and page# they can do a lookup and tell you how long to get stock and usually give you a price.

I've bought stuff fom the Fatbook that way at my local small bike shop. Order Mondy or Tuesday and usually at the shop in a week. But then I live closer to Toronto than you do

prolly be tough to find one that will mount specifically to your bike.
the one you pictured looks like a windshield for a h-d road king.
which will require some custom mounts but shouldn't be to bad if you can fabricate.
