Excellent question! They rarely work worth a damn anyway. Like the guy who turned this -

A good KZ650-C1

into this -
A butchered transplant job that never ran again and became scrap metal

Now THAT'S a crime.

Yeah, but I'd like to see more Honda/Davidson's.

Lol!!!!

For the most part I agree with you guys and I'm a sucker for a original, but I have seen a couple Kaw conversions I really liked.
I have one I picked up in pieces from a young guy who was loosing his sight.

This is my mockup so far.

I also have this old ice racer.
(P.S.I have been told the FZR 400 and 600 swingarms fit Kaw triples almost perfect.)

I want to improve the handling on it. Like this.

Worth 50 bucks for sure... From the pictures I don't even see a bent frame.... There are several shops here in Ohio that can fix "bent" frames and I mean BENT frames :woohoo: With an initial investment of 50 dollars you can spend quite a bit on any framework needed and still be way ahead of the game..... Just don't think you can sell it for a huge profit though, but it could be a hell of a toy to ride around on for a low cost investment  Get it running and take a ride to see how it handles....

Ed's example doesn't look like it would take that much work to get it running???
No one wants a trailer queen
In fact that type of bike is where the term chopper originated
Safety is the number 1 concern, looks are strictly a personal issue
Having fun is the main goal :silly: never forget that no matter your age or you're just a old fuddy duddy
Enjoy
